Mentoring
A reciprocal partnership, led by the needs of the mentee. Here is how the Peoples-Praxis mentoring process works.
Led by the needs of the mentee
The mentoring process is led by the needs of the mentee. Both mentees and mentors are committed and willing to make the time for the partnership between them. The relationship is reciprocal — both parties gain from it, stay open-minded, and are ready to change.
As a potential mentee or mentor, you complete a short form outlining your interests in being part of the programme. Peoples-Praxis staff assign you to a pair and ask you to contact each other, discuss the goals of your mentoring partnership, and arrange how to have discussions — usually online — at mutually convenient times.
How you get started
Complete a short form

Get matched
Peoples-Praxis staff assign you to a pair and introduce you to each other.
Connect & set goals
Agree the goals of your partnership and arrange your discussions — usually online — at times that suit you both.
Become a Peoples-Praxis mentee

Many mentors describe the reward of seeing a mentee grow in confidence, apply new skills, and achieve things they could not have done alone.
